Who Can Join?

Membership is open to individuals and organizations involved or interested in mind-body medicine, healthcare management, medical professionals, educators, students, entrepreneurs in healthcare, and healthcare organizations who subscribe to our aims and objectives.

Special Eligibility Clause for Executive Positions

For the first ten (10) years from commissioning, only alumni of the Masters of Hospital Administration (MHA) program from SGPGIMS, Lucknow shall be eligible to contest for and hold the executive positions of President, Secretary, and Treasurer. This ensures strategic direction as envisioned by founding members. After this period, the Governing Body will review and potentially expand eligibility criteria.

Membership Categories

Regular Members

Individuals actively engaged in mind-body medicine or related healthcare administration.

Rights & Privileges:

  • Right to hold office in the Society
  • Voting rights at all meetings
  • Attend all Body meetings
  • Access to all resources and programs

Associate Members

Individuals or organizations with an interest in mind-body medicine but not directly involved in the field.

Rights & Privileges:

  • Access to Society's resources and programs
  • No voting rights
  • Cannot hold elective office

Student Members

Individuals currently enrolled in mind-body medicine or related educational programs.

Rights & Privileges:

  • Access to Society's resources and programs
  • Special student-focused initiatives
  • No voting rights
  • Cannot hold elective office

Honorary Members

Eminent individuals in the field of mind-body medicine appointed by the Board.

Rights & Privileges:

  • Access to Society resources
  • Voting and holding office rights
  • Exempt from membership dues

Corporate Members

Healthcare organizations, institutions, or corporations interested in supporting mind-body medicine initiatives.

Rights & Privileges:

  • Representatives can participate in events and programs
  • Sponsorship and collaboration opportunities
  • No individual voting rights in Society elections
  • Cannot hold individual offices

Membership Dues

Membership dues are determined by the Board of Directors and may vary for different categories of members. The Board may offer life membership options and other payment structures. Honorary Members are exempt from paying dues.

Membership Termination

Membership may be terminated or suspended by the Board of Directors under the following circumstances:

Non-Payment

Non-payment of prescribed membership dues within the specified time period

Rule Violations

Violation of the Society's rules, bylaws, or established code of conduct

Detrimental Actions

Any action deemed detrimental to the interests or reputation of the Society

Due Process: Before termination, members are given due notice and an opportunity to be heard in accordance with procedures established by the Board. The decision of the Board is final, subject to confirmation by the General Body if required.
